My family just got back from a trip to Washington DC for the White House Easter Egg Roll. Now that I’m a dad I realize he took ambivalence as a challenge, that he would be able to convince us of how fascinating it all really was. It’s not that he didn’t care that we didn’t like it. He was unphased by our groans and complaints, in fact he may have been fueled by them, as dads often are. When I was a kid, my dad LOOOVED taking us to the Wright Patterson Air Force Museum. In one of nature’s cruelest twists, kids are, historically, not huge fans. And I’m doubly sure preteens will lose their mind for it.ĭads love history, monuments, and museums. I’m sure some young popstars will be thrilled to design in-game swag to share with fans. Considering the game’s been around since 2006, many artists will have grown up on Roblox themselves. Collectables and achievements are nothing new in video games – or, as we’ve seen with NFTs in the last year, real life for that matter. The artists are also as involved with the creative process as they’d like to be. But while it’s Dad Law to roll your eyes and act like your wallet is welded shut in these scenarios, Spotify made clear that in-game merch proceeds go directly to the artist. As someone who spent money on multiple skins for the various Avengers in a game I don’t even like, I have no commentary on this. In-game, Spotify will host mini-quests, virtual meet-and-greets, and other interactive experiences with artists, including, obviously, selling MERCH! Yes, what kid hasn’t begged for some extra virtual dollars to spend on a virtual t-shirt for their virtual person. That’s all pretty familiar territory to online gamers, but the hook is how Spotify will use this space to host unique moments between artists and fans. The tokens you collect can be exchanged for in-game content, such as emotes and cosmetic changes to your avatar. The basic gameplay of Spotify Island is to parkour your way around a digital island paradise, collecting heart-shaped tokens, finding hidden easter eggs, and interacting with other players at beat-making stations. The game allows players to engage with user-generated content, mainly in the form of mini-games players can create and share. Look, Spotify, you know me, you know how many times a week I listen to Bruce Springsteen’s Darkness on the Edge of Town what kind of coffee did you expect me to order?Īnyway, the Roblox thing.
FLAMING CINNAMON TOAST CRUNCH SHOT FULL
When I arrived, there was a full coffee bar in the lobby, complete with a barista who was very unimpressed by my order of regular black coffee.

Add shaken ingredients to prepared glasses and top with whipped cream.Sidenote: I have to say, the Spotify office is pretty rad. Rim the glass with cinnamon sugar by rolling the rim of the shot glass in corn syrup then in a shallow plate of cinnamon sugar. Serve your Cinnamon Toast Crunch Shot in a shot glass or small glass tumbler. In general when you feel metal of a shaker get cold, your drink is ready to pour. Add RumChata and Fireball whiskey to a cocktail shaker with ice.Multiply the recipe as needed depending on how many shots you are serving (don’t forget one for yourself!) Since RumChata contains cream, it’s best kept in the fridge and served chilled. If you want to get really adventurous, you could make this RumChata Fudge! It is amazing in this and so many other things. RumChata: This is a creamy liqueur that is cinnamon based. It is great on it’s own, in this shot, or mixed with root beer. Fireball: This cinnamon whiskey is extremely popular for a reason, it’s delicious. The Cinnamon Toast Crunch Shot recipe is made with only two ingredients, and equal parts each! It is great for Christmas parties, and you can even make a full pitcher of these and serve them over ice.įor other boozy “sweet treats” try this Baileys Martini and Mudslide. We especially love this recipe around the holidays. This recipe is easy on your tastebuds and is sure to impress your guests! It is sweet, making it perfect for happy hour, after dinner, or with appetizers.
